(OAKLAND, Calif.) -- A’s catcher John Jaso doubled home pinch runner Nick Punto in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Oakland (22-15) a 4-3 victory over the Washington Nationals (19-17) on Saturday night.

Jaso took the first pitch from Nationals reliever Drew Storen and sent it to right field for the comeback win.

The Nationals had a two run lead entering the bottom of the ninth, but closer Rafael Soriano blew the save, allowing an RBI double to A’s shortstop Jed Lowrie and an RBI single to third baseman Jason Donaldson.
