Facebook Announces New Privacy Feature (Techsonia)

Good news to the millions of users of the world’s leading social networking site. Facebook announces its new privacy features that will upgrade the privacy control of their users.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed the new features and how it will work in Facebook’s developer conference in San Francisco, California Wednesday. Although the latest additions to the list of FB features are still in the testing mode, it is expected to roll out in the coming months.

The new features include the new Anonymous login wherein the user will have more control on the privacy of his account. In this new feature, a user can try an app even without giving out any of his personal information saved at Facebook.Zuckerberg said it is a “hassle-free to log in and try apps.” He added that a user can choose later if he wants to continue to log in with his full Facebook identification or not.
Another new feature is an option in which the user will have control on the amount and the type of information an app can get about the user. Finally, there will also be a new dashboard for managing app permissions.
